...My Sense of Balance.

To you... and you... who will never ever get to read this. Axium speaks my heart.

Take your turn to lean on me
I've leaned on you for so long
Your words, they hide behind your age
My words, they sing you this song

And I fall from this tightrope
That you've walked a thousand times
One step over to step
You're wise beyond your eyes

Walk away, it's your time
Deny the tear in my eye
Your memory will never die
Your memory will never die

At peace I trust in you every step of the way
To stay with me 'til the end of the day
So move on to your tomorrow as we all say goodnight
'Cause you're my sense of balance for the rest of my
life.

Now I'm waiting on the words
That I've never had the chance to tell
So this is my "I love you"
This is my "fare thee well"

Walk away, it's your time
Deny the tear in my eye
The memory will never die
The memory will never die

At peace I trust in you every step of the way
To stay with me 'til the end of the day
So move on to your tomorrow as we all say goodnight
'Cause you're my sense of balance for the rest of my
life, rest of my life
Rest of my life, rest of my life, rest of my life, rest of my life...

Why I Love @SaraBareilles.

Bring the bass on, baby! So.. I am loving this song from Sara Bareilles' Kaleidoscope Heart album called Let The Rain. It's definitely one of my favorites now... because of the bass. Hehehe. Er, partly. Mostly because I am so in love with its message. On her Youtube channel she says she wrote this song "about rebirth. It's a theme in my life that keeps coming up and I hold this ideal near and dear to my heart. We all face different challenges and obstacles and it's up to us to decide how to approach them. I'd like to think I'm someone that has the capacity to be brave, but honestly, it's something I work really hard at. This song is about my most profound fears and was ultimately the tool that helped me move past them. Sometimes we have to brave the rain to get to the sun. xo s" Something that I can really relate with with all the fears and worries about the future that I am trying and hopefully will overcome in time. I cry when I feel like it. I cry a lot and that's normal? Yes. It's my way of release and then yes, it gets me back all the reasons in the world... of why I am still holding on, of why I keep on believing that things will be sorted out and will get better in time, of why I won't let go of my dream, of why I still want happiness to be my major emotion and fight bad vibes. Thank you for reminding me that's it's okay to break down and cry sometimes, Sara. Just thank you.
Now what's not to love about her, really? One of my musical heroines, she'll always be.

And as for the lyrics...
