I don't know what's keeping me from posting my Deathly Hallows' review of sort, but I stil don't feel like posting it haha. It's very unusual because I was very eager to post my views last time (HBP) and yet this time.. haha. Maybe I am silently waiting for the buzz to subside a bit, though I doubt it will ever be 'cause there's still Part 2.. or maybe it's a good thing, so that somehow, if I would post it halfway our 8 months of waiting then it may refresh everything (though there isn't really a need) haha. Gulo ko rin e no? Alright, so commercial muna nga.
So me and my sister went to SM Pampanga last Sunday to accompany our aunt to buy her "pamasko" and some gifts for our cousins. We were on the Children's Section then when I found some Harry Potter t-shirts and sweatshirts... for kids. Dang. So I get all giddy 'cause believe it or not, I don't usually see Harry Potter stuff because :
1. I barely have time to go out/to the mall.
2. Maybe it's everywhere a few years back, but as you all know I am not a huge fan then. I mean, I knew HP, but I wasn't gaga about it. I haven't read the books 'til 2008. Didn't watch the films 'til, apparently, 2009. Didn't buy magazines/collector items during it' "kasikatan". In short, ako'y talagang napag-iwanan sa mga bagay na ganyan. These days, Harry Potter still get featured on magazines but I believe not as much as before where the publishers would actually dedicate a whole magazine just for HP. Not that it needs publicity, 'cause it's already well known, right? Pero siguro bitter lang ako na ginagawan nila ng collector's edition ang Twi***** pati si Biebs when, honestly? Ah ewan. I don't wanna comment further on that.
Going back, I really like the Gryffindor jacket. I think it would fit me. Kaya lang medyo nahiya naman akong magsukat sa gitna ng mga 5 to 10 year olds. Hahahaha. Pero feeling ko talaga kasya naman e. :DDD
My aunt even asked the saleslady:
Aunt: Pwede pa sa kanya 'to? (referring to the jacket)
Saleslady: Ah... (nag-isip) naku, pang bata po e. Sa pang teen na po s'ya. (Me)
Come on! Kasalanan ko pa ngayong malaki (er, chubby) akong babae? haha siguro. And so yeah, we ended up not buying it. Apart from the jacket, I also want the free HP scarf for every 500php purchase. But since we didn't buy anything, and I didn't have enough push to ask how much it'd cost if we'd just buy it. And I am not really sure if it is for sale so, yun.
I really want a scarf, a Gryffindor scarf haha, that would be of great use come January (for our Hongkong-Macau trip). I am still deciding whether to buy it online, if there are still available or not. Or maybe I would just ask someone to knit it for me. I don't care if it isn't the best kind, just as long as it's red and yellow. Hahaha. And lately, me and my friends have talked about "maybe it is available on the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Florida? Let's go there!" haha it probably is. And I wanna go there too. Ok, this is a long-term goal, but yeah, I WILL.
There. I haven't updated my blogs page in a while. The next post could be the review, who knows? But this will do for now. :)
