I don't know what's keeping me from posting my Deathly Hallows' review of sort, but I stil don't feel like posting it haha. It's very unusual because I was very eager to post my views last time (HBP) and yet this time.. haha. Maybe I am silently waiting for the buzz to subside a bit, though I doubt it will ever be 'cause there's still Part 2.. or maybe it's a good thing, so that somehow, if I would post it halfway our 8 months of waiting then it may refresh everything (though there isn't really a need) haha. Gulo ko rin e no? Alright, so commercial muna nga.

Because I Am Never Good At Describing Myself...

17:44:00 APRILSKELTER 5 Comments

... I tried this quiz, as suggested by Twittermate Olis. lol. I must say it is really (Read: REALLY) accurate. Reading the results made me think, "Wow, that's me!" Lines with asterisks (*) are my personal comments.
  Read if you must. Try if you want.
http://www.quizbox.com/personality/test82.aspx

Your view on yourself:
You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You are a true romantic. When you are in love, you will do anything and everything to keep your love true.

* WOW. Hahahaha.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.
The seriousness of your love:
You are very serious about relationships and aren't interested in wasting time with people you don't really like. If you meet the right person, you will fall deeply and beautifully in love.
* :)

 Your views on education
You may not like to study but you have many practical ideas. You listen to your own instincts and tend to follow your heart, so you will probably end up with an unusual job.
* Yeah.

The right job for you: You have plenty of dream jobs but have little chance of doing any of them if you don't focus on something in particular. You need to choose something and go for it to be happy and achieve success.
* Tamaaa!

How do you view success: You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous.
* Goodness yes.

What are you most afraid of:
You are concerned about your image and the way others see you. This means that you try very hard to be accepted by other people. It's time for you to believe in who you are, not what you wear.

Who is your true self: You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.
* Grins *

#ChordsOfStrength - David Archuleta (an April-ish review)

18:30:00 APRILSKELTER 2 Comments

Hi! So I'm posting this blog thru my mate's phone. We planned on going online on a nearby cafe here in the boarding house, but changed plans because of the gloomy weather. And so yeah, as much as I don't want to call it a review, lol, but it seems to me that this is, I just want to share my thoughts about this memoir/bio of sorts, that was written by one of my fave musicians, David Archuleta -- Chords Of Strength.

Test your Harry Potter knowledge here!

14:12:00 APRILSKELTER 6 Comments

So my online friend, Olis,  has introduced me this Potter quiz, where one should list the Top 200 Harry Potter characters. You think it's be easy but you might be wrong. You might think 18 minutes is enough and yet, it might also be really short.

At first try, I got 94/200. I'm disappointed, really haha. And then after a week, I tried it again and I got

Really frustrating. I was really time pressured, but I don't wanna make any excuses, lol, I guess that's all that I can remember. But man, I just can't help but comment, DO THEY REALLY THINK I'D REMEMBER NAMES LIKE Dedalus Diggle, Broderick Bode and Griselda Marchbanks? I don't even remember where they have encountered Professor Lofty! I was like who the hell are those characters haha.
 I SHOULD READ THE BOOKS AGAIN, PERHAPS?

Valentine's Day, and more!

15:04:00 APRILSKELTER 4 Comments

I was thinking of putting up two different blogposts for this but thought of saving time and effort so I did just one. (Ha! Lame I know.) I got loads of stuff to tell! Hence, there's "and more" on the title. lol. Okay, enough introductions and formalities..... Lezdothis!

So, last Tuesday, Andrea and I have finally watched Valentine's Day at Cabanas. Yes... just the two of us and seven more people at the venue I think. haha. Cora, Elai, Joe and Kenon were off to do their Man E report and Roy went home early, so it's really just us. Plus I know they really aren't eager about the movie as much as we are and we've planned about watching it for months now so, that's why. Seven more other people at the theater, approximately yes, haha, not because it's not "mabenta" there or sorts but because there are a lot of other places to watch, like the malls, etc. And yet we chose this place, cause it's near and let's say, "sulit ang bayad" and very organized. Also, most of the people would rather watch Miss You Like Crazy (that's on the other cinema) than watching "Valentine's Day". Hmmmmm, going back to the movie... I think it's a pretty good watch. Very star-studded but not losing the very essence of the story. Sa sobrang daming big stars, kokonti lang yung exposure nung iba. Haha. It's cool to watch Taylor Swift on her first movie stint, though. The role is very natural and she's funny, and I think they (together with Lautner) have given enough justice to their characters. Plus, she is taller than Lautner pala? Ha! I just noticed. They make a cute couple, though. Funny how you can count their scenes on your two hands and most of it, they were like kissing. lol. I feel like Emma Robert's (who's one of the reasons why I watched this movie) participation was.... so small that you barely even notice her. Nagdrive lang s'ya e oh. Naghanap ng nawawalang kapatid, tapos yun na! Well, no one's to blame, given an ensemble like that. Shirley Mclaine's funny. I kind of liked Jennifer Garner on this one. Awesome as always. Jamie Fox fit his role very much, and so are the others. Dami e. :-)

Eto pa pala, I thought matatapos yung movie na nakasakay lang ng eroplano si Julia Roberts. Hahahaha. Really short role.

At the end of the day, it has a simple fluffy story line but has almost all the love dilemmas that one can encounter in real life. Youngsters in love, complicated relationships, best friend to boyfriend type of relationship, even on the kiddos and of old age. Ha. And a happy ending too.

Although I think it has a lot of negative reviews over the net. Weh? I liked it e. Yun. I should see "Love, Actually" too, though. 'Cause I was tweet-talking with Niles Chong (Yes, the vocalist of Angulo) that morning when he tweeted about Valentine's Day is a "cheap imitation" of Love, Actually and that LA is 100% better. Hmmm, we'll see. But whatever it is, I enjoyed this movie. (And the two guys behind us on the theater did liked it too. haha. Mozarella cheese.)

Others.

This morning, we (me and my friends - slash - ManE groupmates) went to DPWH - Bulacan to conduct some interviews regarding machines and equipment and guess what? Think it's a lucky day! The engineers there are all very nice and approachable and they even helped us and brought us to one of their on going projects' site -- flood control in Balagtas, Bulacan this very same day. And free lunch too! (THE BEST. haha) I love talking with them 'cause in one way or another, I am learning. Sure did learn a lot not just about our topic but all about life and being an engineer itself. It's crazy how you get to bond with these prominent people who, who knows, are probably the one responsible in the construction of your streets. I felt so honored to be actually able to get the chance to interview one of the nicest Junior Project engineer in town! He is very amiable and nice, answered all our inquiries, and joked around with us even.  Somehow, I felt like, "Hey, this could be my job someday", I felt like this is where I BELONG. Parang gusto ko na tuloy mag-OJT o. haha. But the future's not so clear right now, though I'm pretty sure that time will some really soon. I believe! ha. We'd definitely come back there some time this week (er, next week.) to take some pictures and follow ups. This is really cool and I really enjoyed this day. March 5th sure is remarkable!
Tata for now! x

Update.

15:16:00 APRILSKELTER 5 Comments

So I have't really got a chance to update my own Multiply, haha. Busy or maybe lazy for that matter. :) Anyway, here it is! The chance!

Uh so, it's been a lovely week following our most anticipated event of the year (for this school year, I mean), the PICE Night, that is. It's really fun when you'd dress up according to the code/theme and just have fun, eat, dance all night without thinking of the grades or the exams that you might have after that "magical" night. Kumbaga, you live with the moment, cherish every second of it and then whatever may happen in the future, we'l just have to wait and see. Our theme for this year is a masquerade ball. Oh. YES. I have no choice but to wear a dress. Not a big deal for others but for me, well, I don't really fancy wearing dresses. lol. I know I am a girl, but not that of a girly type and so yes again, I have no choice, I have to. There's nothing wrong with it, it's just that I have this really big arms (well, I'm fat. What would you expect? Haha.) so basically I'm getting conscious with it. Lucky to find a decent dress with manggas. I think it's cool. :-) It's very ironic though, to realize that I AM the one who's pursuing the idea of having a Hollywood-like entrance, with the photo wall and red carpet and all and then turned out, looking back at the ictures that we've taken that night, I don't have a photo at the red carpet. Might I go ballistic then. lol.

So the night, is fun. It's also good to see all, er, most of the CE students enjoying the Night that was full of mishaps and controversies (lol. leveling ha.) pero sa huli ay nairaos din at take note, naging matagumpay. Also, I noticed that the students are more open-minded this days, and are more cooperative in the sense that there's never a dull moment on the dance floor even during the sweet dances. Before kasi medyo may hiyaan factor pa e, walang gaanong sumasayaw pag sweet dance na. Pero this year, aba! Mga walang hiya na, haha, I mean, they're all for the enjoyment of the said event. Or maybe is it because it's Valentines' Day then, that's why people are so giddy and romantic? Bah, malay ko. :-)

Enough talk for the night, moving on, finally I get to finish reading Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging by Louise Rennison. I am so happy because I am long waiting to have a hand on those e-books. haha. Thanks to my friend for sharing her copies with me. Just now, I have already downloaded  an ebook copy of The Lovely Bones. I loved the movie and so, I wanted to read the book. I went to the last page first and saw the same freaking quote that made me laugh...

"I wish you all a long and happy life."

Haha. Kind of freaky, but loved it anyways. Talked a lot now, have I? :P I've read David's latest blog, by the way, and I am so moved by it. Uh, we should help other people the way that we can. It doesn't matter how big or small its effects to others would be, but it is so nice when you get to make them happy and sorts. It makes you feel fullfilled too. That's all for now I guess.
Ta ta!
